Samples 107 patients with suspected bladder cancer Samples underwent biopsy of suspicious bladder areas

cytology compared to biopsy Chi-Square test

Results
The most common type of bladder cancerTransitional cell carcinoma Males had higher incidence rate than females Sensitivity 83,63 %

Specificity 71,15 %
Positive predictive value 75,40 %

Negative predictive value 80,43 %

Conclusion
Urinary cytology an additive diagnostic tool for bladder cancer Urinary cytology diagnostic tool for bladder cancer at Sardjito Hospital high sensitivity and specificity
