This little Easter Treat Box is one that I custom designed. It was inspired by a circle card that we learned how to make at Stampin Up!s eadership !on"ention. I started with their basic design and altered it into a # dimensional box. $ou can see a side "iew o% the box below&

1o& c#" #ccess the tem%$#te 2ERE. Ste%34+3Ste% 5(rect(o"s Step 1& 'lign the template with the top corner o% the 123 x 123 piece o% So Sa%%ron !S. Using a pencil+ trace the outline o% the circle. The diameter o% the circle is aobut 5 1423 so i% you dont ha"e the template shown below+ any circle shape or circle cutter that has a circle o% approximately the same si)e will work. E"en i% the circle is a tad bit smaller or a tad bit bigger the pro9ect will still work.

Step 2& !ut out the circle along the pencil lines. ine it up with your grid paper as shown and using a ruler i% necessary+ make a pencil line on the le%t and right sides o% the circle at #3 and at # 1423 as shown.

Step #& ine up the pencil marks with the channels on your personal paper trimmer and score all the way across the circle along both the #3 mark and then the # 1423 marks.

Step ;& <old along the #3 score line ,using your bone %older/ + then line up the %old along the top edge o% the personal paper trimmer. $ou are going to score at& 1 =453+ 2 1453+ 6 #453 and 6 >453. 66Note0 7he" +o& #re #$(!"("! +o&r fo$ded c(rc$e8 +o& #re NOT $("("! &% the $#r!est %#rt of the c(rc$e 7(th these d(me"s(o"s 9 +o& #re $("("! &% the )er+ to% $eft cor"er of the fo$d.

Step =& !rease along all the score lines using your bone %older. $our template will look like this&

Step 6& Using your paper snips+ cut out the two smaller pieces o% the circle+ %ollowing the innermost ,towards the center o% the circle/ score lines.

Step >& <lip the circle o"er. Stamp the small %lower stamp all o"er the back o% the circle using So Sa%%ron ink. !olor in the center o% each small %lower using a white signo gel pen.

Step 5& <lip the template back o"er+ %old in the side %laps+ add sticky strip along the le%t and right edges o% the bottom %lap as shown in the picture.

Step ?& 0eel o% the backing %rom the sticky strip and care%ully bring up the bottom %lap and align and stick onto the side %laps so that the box looks as shown. I %ound it easier to peel o% the backing and stick one side at a time.

Step 1@& Take your 1 1423 x 113 strip o% !hocolate !hip !S and score and %old at 1 #4;3. ay this %old o"er the %ront right edge o% the box+ and using your %ingers care%ully shape the belly band around the creases. :o this one crease at a time by gently pinching the !S o"er the crease to get an 3impression3 o% the crease. '%ter each crease+ remo"e the belly band+ place it onto the grid paper and %ully crease as shown in Step 11.

Step 11& Each time you crease the areas that you pinched+ make sure that the sides o% the !S strip are aligned+ this will ensure your crease line is straight.

Step 12& *nce you ha"e %inished going o"er step 1@ and 11 %or each crease+ use your corner rounder punch to create a scalloped edge on each side o% the !S strip. I% you"e ne"er used your corner rounder to create a scalloped edge click AEBE to see a tutorial that was created by Beate Cohns.

Step 1#& $ou will be o"erlapping the ends on the backside o% the box. Dotice %rom the picture below+ that i% you were to do that right now+ you would see where the scallops do not Euite match up. The next step will help you sol"e that problem. Be%ore you mo"e on though+ take a pencil and make a small mark on the top and bottom right where the %lap o"erlaps. ends.

Step 1;& Take your paper snips and cut away the scallops %rom the bottom %lap as shown in the picture.

Step 1=& 'ttach the belly band. 's you can see+ now when you o"erlap the %laps+ you no longer see the mis8matched scalloped edges. Use your snips to tidy it up a little i% you need to.

Step 16& This is what the %ront o% the box now looks like.

Step 1>& Take your 13 x 113 strip o% Bash%ul Blue !S+ score and %old it at 1 #4;3+ and then shape it around the box+ the same way you did the chocolate chip belly band.

Step 15& *nce you"e creased and %olded your belly band so that is %its around the box+ remo"e it and on the longer end+ stamp 3happy easter3 9ust to the le%t o% the score line. Use your Stamp8a8ma89ig i% nessary. .ount the band so that it is centered in the chocolate chip band. This time though+ the 3seam3 where the two ends o"erlap will end up on the %ront right side o% the box. This seam will be co"ered by the ribbon.

Step 1?& Take some !hocolate !hip !S scraps and run them through a crimper. Using a paper trimmer or the SU table top cutter+ cut them into "ery thin strips. !runch up the strips and gently rub them between your palms. This will become the %iller %or your treat box.

Step 2@& Tie your 53 piece o% ribbon around the Bash%ul Blue !S strip 7 position it so that it co"ers where the ends o"erlap 7 and tie in a knot. Stamp+ color and cut out your chick and the hal% egg shell and mount. <ill your medium cello bag with your treats 8remember the box is only 1423 deep so the treats ha"e to lay relati"ely %lat. Tie the cello bag shut with the 63 piece o% ribbon tied ina knot. 0lace a little tissue on the inside bottom o% the box %or 3padding3+ insert your treat then stu%% a little %iller along both sides. $oure done! Birthday Box & I: & 12 x 12 inch !ard stock score all ; side at 2 F G and cut upto the score line up and down. Bottom& Take a 12 x 12 inch card stock and cut 145 G on 2 sides o% card stock. Score all ; sides at 2 F G and %old all the score lines cut slits up and down 'pply sticky strip on ; sides o% the slit made abo"e on the up side. !lose the box

Score your 6x6 piece o% :esigner paper at 1+2+#+;+I =

Start by %olding your :S paper accordian style as shown

in photo. !ontinue %olding by %lipping and %olding until you reached the end

This will be what the T*0 o% your star accordian %old will look like BE.E.BEB this is the T*0 with the # mountain tops and $*U will be cutting the other s(de : .ottom : , This is JEB$ important girls /

Dext you will Then insert your accordian %olded strip into your cutter and score a light mark at #3 this will be the center o% your strip , This mark only se"ers as a reminder %or the next step .. I% you can eye ball the center then skip this step Aee! Aee!

*k Dow using the long body stapler you will staple in the center , as shown in this photo / o"er top o% the light score line you made in pre"ious step

*k now we are ready %or cutting .. BE.E.BEB you will always be cutting on the .OTTO; side , Be%er back to step =/ ok place your thumb o"er the center staple and this will ser"e as your guide where to cut I am right handed so my cuts and the bottom o% the strip is %acing right , Jery important girls /

*k now start cutting at an angle to the top le%t side .. start cutting 9ust below your thumb , as shown in photo / I% you need to cut more you can always cut more o%% later But you can ne"er put it back on so until you make your 1st one it is always better to cut less than to .U!A K-I.H wink wink !

Dext <lip your strip upward and cut the next side the same way as shown in photo . Using your thumb as your guide again

*k once your done cutting your angles this is what the B*TT*. o% your star will look like *k now comes the %olding .. Bemember once you get the %olding part down you will 9ust play around with your %inished star making ad9ustments to postion your star $*U will "ot need any adhesi"e

*k next %old one panel at a time upward making a crease to ha"e it stand up shown in the photo . $ou may want to %old the accordian strip in hal% to make this part easier 9ust to get the center creased so each panel will stand upward

*K here comes the trick girls I really think the photo explains this best since I %ind it hard to put into words .. *k I will try . once you ha"e your panel standing upward take your panel and lay it down to your table making sure to make the triangle 0oint in the center .. $ou see the star %orming now dont you HH

!ontinue doing this to all the panels as shown in pre"ious step .

*nce you ha"e done all your panels now comes the playing ... 9ust postion your star panels by ad9usting them and pushing the centers out or in whate"er you want your %inished Star to look like. <inal step is punch a tiny hole in the top o% one panel and add your cording .. [6 always start with your ne"er ending card with the %ront center lines going "ertical , up and down / now open the center panels to each side as shown in photo with panels going to back and panels going to side , the back panels should go all the way to backside lea"ing those 2 panels you opened on the sides /..and S!*BE the %olds "ery good.. These next steps remember to score all panels you open this makes it much easier to glide through the ne"er ending card . Because as 1st its a little sti%%..

[> Dow take the center o% your card and open to top and bottom as shown in the photo . .aking sure your scoring all along the %old lines when you open each section
