How to Backup and Restore

Using the Net Numen TDSCDMA OMC software, there isnt a simple click save option. The method by which saving or creating a backup or restore may occur is by saving your files via the FTP server. The following images below will demonstrate the processes involved.

Backup
Select (Management) Drop-box menu to (Database - backup)

Enter a name for the save file, and Click the boxes to select which file(s) you want to save.

Click Save

File is saving

The data has been successfully saved if all the components selected for saving, lights up green. If red, there is an error somewhere. Repeat process again or confirm that there is data to be saved

Transferring Saved file from FTP Server to USB Disk


Click here to enter FTP Server

Copy the server address using the keyboard command Ctrl-C

And paste it in Run using Ctrl-V

Login into the FTP Server using the following; Username: sysbak Password: sysbak

Now you have entered the FTP Server


Copy and paste the saved file unto USB Drive.

How to Restore Data


The process involved to restore data is similar to the process for backing up, but with some small differences. Select (Management) Drop-box menu to (Database - Restore)

Click here to access FTP server

Copy the server address using the keyboard command Ctrl-C

Paste server address in Run

Login into the FTP Server using the following; Username: sysbak Password: sysbak

Opened FTP Server

Copy Saved File from source drive(s) for e.g. USB Drive, and paste into the FTP Server folder

Click here to access FTP Server

Select the desired save file

Check the boxes for the files you want to restore

Files has been restored; If found with errors will light up red. Green means files are ok Click the highlighted box to continue

Click to lock the files for selection of restore files

Check the box of the desired save file

Data successfully restored
