All art starts with lines. Today we will learn about specific lines and practice drawing them.

We will end with a Doodle filled with lines. A Doodle is a free form drawing that is just for fun.

A Doodle is a free form drawing that is just for fun. Free form means that it is just your hand drawing shapes, it is NOT something you can recognize. It is best to use one continuous line to begin a doodle. (That means you put your pencil on the paper and dont pick it up until you are finished.

Now you draw your own doodle in each rectangle. Use only one continuous line for your doodle. (That means one line that doesnt stop)

On this page, draw one large doodle then fill in ALL the spaces (inside the doodle and outside) with different kinds of lines. When you finish, trace your lines with BLACK marker, then color it with crayons. !
