2. Reduce or enlarge pattern as needed for proper sizing.

3. Cut materials a. Cut 2 material side panels (pattern piece #1) b. Cut 2 liner side panels (pattern piece #1) c. Cut 1 material top panel (pattern piece #2) d. Cut 1 liner top panel (pattern piece #2) e. Cut 2 material edging panels (pattern piece #3)

(steps 4 and 5 are the same for both the lining and outer of the garrison cap)

4. Sew the top panel to each side panel at the top right side to right side.

5. Sew the side panels together at the ends roughly forming the shape of the garrison cap.

6. Sew edging panels together with correct piping

7. Sew liner to outer cap using 1/4" seam allowance

8. Sew edging panel to cap and top stitch.
