Walmart

April 12, 2012

Mrs. Kelly Chancellor, Manager Walmart 2050 N Highway 78 Wylie, Texas 75098 Dear Mrs. Chancellor: Thank you for taking the time to review my concerns and always being there when I needed your guidance. Having a busy schedule, I never get to appreciate all that you have done. I understand that during the summer Walmart will be very busy and you will require a full staff of associates. Unfortunately, my grandmother is very sick and I will need to take a week off starting April 23, to visit her in Florida. I was intending on taking leave earlier during the weekend of Easter, but I realized Easter weekend would be very busy and having one less person would make the front end operations suffer. I am requesting one week off without pay, and I have also made sure another coworker would be able to fill in my availability during that week. I have not requested a day off for the past year, and during this time I will need to take the week off to support my grandmother during this difficult time. I have also attached instructions to all cashiers on tasks that need to be completed, so that operations will run smoothly, and this way you will not have to worry about coordinating the cashiers. I appreciate you for considering my request and I will look forward to your decision. Please let me know by April 15 and please call me at 972-294-3911 to notify me of your decision. Sincerely,

Parth Dave Customer Service Manager Enclosure
