San Antonio Supports McAllister Park Little League Team

Sunday Sendoff & Fundraiser Planned
As the McAllister Park Little League Texas West Champions prepare to head to the
Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA next week, the San Antonio community is
rallying to support its history-making team. On Sunday, August 16, at 6 p.m. the community
is invited to a pep rally at the team’s home field at McAllister Park, 13102 Jones Maltsberger
Rd.

Members of the team, the coaches, and their families will be on hand to celebrate their
unprecedented season and receive well wishes from their enthusiastic fans. The McAllister
Park 12-year-olds are the first San Antonio to qualify for the prestigious World Series and are
one of eight American teams and eight international teams to compete.

The pep rally will also provide an opportunity to donate to a fund that will help defray
the boys’ families’ expenses associated with the trip to Williamsport. Anyone who wishes
to make a tax-deductible donation may do so at the rally on Sunday or by mailing a
check to McAllister Park Little League (MLLP) P.O. Box 160547, San Antonio, TX
78280-2747. McAllister Park Little League is a chartered member of Little League Baseball,
Inc., and is covered under Federal Group Tax Exemption No. 3158, a 501(c)(3) organization.
