It means anything a person or animal does that can be observed in some way. Behaviour enlight mind or thought or feeling can be observed,
NATURE OF BEHAVIOUR
It is a collective name of our all activities . These
activities are following :- Motor Activities : walking , dancing swimming etc. - Cognitive Activities : it is also known as imaginative activities. Eg: thinking , reasoning etc. - Affective activities : feeling , happy , sad and angry
- Behaviour of human beings as well that of birds , insects , plants and animals.
PSYCHOLOGY
It defines as the science of human and animal
behaviour . It include application of this science to human problems. Psychology word derived from two greek words, psyche+logos psyche means state of change from time to time & logos means study of soul.
HISTORICAL PERSPECTIVES
BEHAVIOURISM :
John B.Watson rejected mind as asubject of psychology and insisted that psychology being restricted to study of behaviour , observable . The observable activity of people and animal.
CHARACTERISTICS OF
BEHAVIOURISM : It also focus on conditional reform as the element of behaviour It was infaces on learned rather than the unlearned behaviour It focus specially on animal behaviour.
PSYCHO ANALYSIS :
It was founded in eillena , Austria by Psychatrist Sigmund Fruid in the course of his practice with neuratic patents fruid developed a theory of behaviour and mind which said that much of what will do and think result from arguse which seeks expressions in behaviour and thought
GESTALD PSYCHOLOGY : This psychology was found in Germany about 1912 by Max werther
and his colleages Kurt Koffka & Wol gang kholer . Gestald means form or configuration. The Gestald Psychologist maintain that mind should be thought of as resulting from all pattern of sensory activity and organisation within the spectrum.
