Volunteerism Working at St. Ben's Church feeding homeless people is rewarding and holds a special place in my heart.

I am making a difference in the lives of people I help. Community involvement is key to effective citizenship. Each day the meal program runs; approximately 500 people get fed a wonderful and nutritious meal.

Working at St. Aemilian Lakeside is rewarding also. It allows me to get to know the patrons and make a difference in a different way. Whether going to the Zoo or hanging out in the Day Room playing ping pong, I am making a difference.
