Introduction
High Level Project Purpose or Justification
The purpose of the project is to build an updated football stadium for Plano High School.

Project Scope
The scope of the project is to design a capable football stadium in an appropriate location and
oversee the construction.

Project Requirements
The stadium must be large enough to hold a maximum of 20,000 people in the stands. The
location must also be able to hold a parking area that is sufficient for a large crowd. Most
importantly the stadium needs to be up to safety and health code standards. Other features
include:
Use of concrete material
Standard sized field
Equipped with electricity and lights
Commentator box
Two VIP boxes, one on each side
Concession areas
Two men and women restrooms
Bleachers
Artificial turf

Key Stakeholders
The main stakeholders are the city of Plano community. Other stakeholders include:
Architects
Finance team
Manufacturers
Suppliers
Engineers

The budget of this project is set at $15 million.
