This genre is used on the strip, at the ocean, and at amusement parks at the beach. b. People walk, shop, swim, meet with friends, get on rides, etc. at this genre. c. All kinds of people come to this genre. d. The people do not have a shared objective because people come for different reasons (to relax, for business, etc.) 2. The interaction this genre accomplishes is keeping people safe while allowing them to enjoy the beach. It lets them know what and what not to do and where and where not to do certain things. 3. People at the beach use the genre to stay safe and continue to be able to stay on the beach. The user does change because some signs are directed towards people of a certain age or height especially at amusement parks. 4. The subjects discussed are safety and rules to follow. 5. The genre suggests a social relationship and also a family relationship because people come to the beach to be social and also for family vacations. 6. The roles the genre suggests are responsibility and freedom because the signs allow you to have freedom but you are responsible for following the rules. 7. Words, symbols, and imagery are languages used in this genre.

It does not allow them to break the rules like unleashing dogs or littering on the beach. 10. Everyones needs are served most because these signs are for the safety of everyone at the beach. In a way the genre creates inequalities. People that are older typically have more freedom than younger ones. Ex: rides they can get on and how late they can stay out 13. The genre does privilege ways of doing things because the rules could be way stricter but they are only basic rules.
