Fougamou- Mandji-Mouila Interconnection Line Ministry Project cost Financing Planning


Context and objectives The development of economic centers throughout national territory requires an efficient routing of electricity produced by six large dams that will be built in Gabon by 2020. The national energy plan provides for the implementation of a power transmission network that can supply industrial development along the corridor 1 and the South corridor (Transgabonais). The implementation of the network will be in four phases. Phase IV will connect Fougamou - Mandji - Mouila through a line of interconnection. The study of feasibility of this interconnection line is completed.

Description The project consists in the construction of the high voltage of 225 KV line associated with the hydroelectric dam work of the Eugenie Empress falls. This project will ensure the towns of Mouila, Mahajan and Fougamou feeding as well as villages near highways.
