Context and objectives of the project The development of economic hubs throughout the national territory requires an efficient routing of electricity produced by six large dams that Gabon will be built by 2020. The national energy plan includes the implementation of a national electricity transmission network which will feed the industrial development along the corridor 1 (Transgabonais) and the South corridor. The implementation of the network will take place in four phases. Phase III will cover the stretch: Fougamou-Lambarn-Ekouk-Nkok. The study of feasibility of this transmission line is completed and the preliminary phase is carried out at 50%.

Description The project consist in the construction of a single electric line between the site of the falls of the Empress and the post of Nkok then a double line between Nkok and the post of Ntoum II. This line will allow the renovation of the power of Lambarn and the rural electrification line of Kango - Bifoun at the level of the post of Ekouk.
