Organizational back ground Community Partners International (CPI)/ Friends for Health (FFH) works with local organizations to increase their capacity to deliver essential health services in Myanmars underserved and at-risk populations. CPI has 15 years experience building the skills and resources of local partners (including faith -based organizations, local NGOs, community based organizations and ethnic health organizations). Currently, CPI partners deliver medical care and preventive health services to more than one million people in Myanmar. Responsibilities: Assist Program Officer (PO) in curriculum development and training preparation for malaria control program for FFHs partner organizations Participate in training of basic health workers and program staff from FFHs partner organizations together with PO Assist PO in development and procurement of Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials Assist PO in procurement of supplies and logistic materials Assist PO in quarterly data collection and data management Assist PO to develop M & E tools such as reporting format and database workbook Assist PO in conducting site visits for monitoring and evaluation to target areas on regular basis. (mainly Kachin, Mandalay, Kayin and Kayah) Communicate with FFH local partners and area program officers for technical and managerial support Assist Program Manager and Program Officer for reporting (both partner organizations and donors) Assist PO in any other assigned tasks as necessary Requirements: Bachelor's degree in relevant/specific field At least two years experience in implementing public health projects Training experience to non-medical persons Good computer skills (Microsoft Word/Power Point/Excel) Good English skills Ability to travel locally Interested and qualified applicants can submit CV and a cover letter before December 6, 2013 to Community Partners International No. 270, 5(B), Pyay Road, Sanchaung Township, Yangon.Ph: 01-504165 Email: hr@ffhmyanmar.org *Only short-listed people will be contacted for interview*
