Def: It is aquality system based on measurement of how well an organisation needs customer requriements A product side to be six sigma quality there are no more than 3.4 non comformatives

Need of six sigma: Its quality level is closed to 0 defect Less than six sigma does not yield accetable level

Basic steps: The methodology of six sigma consists of 5 steps Define or identify Measure Analyse Improve control

Advantages: It introduces rapid and almost raadical improvement It trnsforms the entire organisation It provides a consistant metric
