We live in Brea, there are good and bad things about living there.

The best thing about our neighborhood is it is a commercial area, for example on all avenue Venezuela you can find restaurants, grocery shopping,gyms, hairdresser and big supermarkets but you should walk pretty carefully because there are thieves that always look for victims. Brea has two of the most important schools from Lima. La Salle is the oldest school. Its campus has green spaces, swimming pool, coliseum and more, making La Salle an oasis in the middle of the big city. M. Llosa studied there for 2 years. Maria Auxiliadra is other school but only women can study there. If you are religious you ought to visit Maria Auxiladora parish, its religious rite is really beatiful and it has a big image of Jesus Christ. Every person who visit it make a petition but you had better not arrive late because they always start early. A good place to get relaxing is the parade ground "La BREA" if you go there, you should go at night because the most beatiful bright lights that surround the water fountain turn on at that hour. Brea has an important hospital, but they only help childrens. Most of the old people in my district that dont have house or refuge could go to nursing home or demand a pension. The worst thing about our neighborhood is it is really noisy, for example on avenue Alfonso Ugarte the traffic is heavy, especially during rush hour, you had better take taxis because you can get stuck in traffic for 1 hour. The streets in Brea are very dangerous at night especially after 10:00 pm, you had better save your valuable things very well, such as your phone or your wallet if you dont want be robbed. In our neighborhood there are a lot of big apartments and many people live there. The problem is there are few parks but a couple of residences have a park inside. It is really bad not have parks because the pollution is rising. The pollution in my district is the principal problem, the smoke from the cars and companies cause diseases in many people. In winter many people go to hospital with respiratory problems. You should not stay in my district for a lot of time because you can get respiratory diseases. The weather in Brea is very bad, nearly all the year there is mist, only in the summer you can see clear skies.

It is not the best place but we like living there.
