Role Descriptions

For our three idents, we will be allocated different roles. These roles are important, as they will allow a smooth composition of each ident. For all three idents, Bobby will be in charge of Directing and Editing. Nicoles will be in charge of the Camera and Lighting for the three idents. Bobby and Nicole will share the responsibility of being in charge of the Sound elements of the three idents. We have allocated ourselves theses roles as each person is confident in being responsible for the different elements of the ident. Bobby is in charge of Directing and Editing; he will be a good director as he is organised, understands the ident well and has a lots of ideas of how to construct the ident from start to finish. These qualities will also be useful in his role of Editor; he will be able to change recognise fine details of the ident that need to be modified in order to make the ident professional and creative. Nicole is in charge of the Camera and Lighting; she will be good at controlling the camera as she has good knowledge of camera angles and how to present someone well in different types of shots; she also has a good understanding of the different shot types that have been planned to be used in the ident. For the lighting, she will use the spotlight accordingly and understand how to move the lights in order to emphasise different characters or focuses in the ident. Bobby and Nicole are sharing the responsibility of the Sound as they feel it is important to agree on the music choices and how the sound will be presented in the ident. They both understand the theme of the ident and will equally input their own views as to which music track will be played in the background of the ident.
