Halloween Spook-tacular
Dont forget that Friday, October the 25th is our haunted Halloween dance and fun house. Come and bid on the great variety of raffle baskets. Tickets can be purchased through the office for $5 or at the door for $7 with all proceeds going toward our schools computer lab. Come for the fun, fear, tasty snacks and support your school.

Reminder to students; book orders are due on October 31 Please return your completed forms and payment method to your homeroom teacher.

Halloween Raffle baskets

Please bring in any contributions towards the raffle basket draws, our class has been given a day at the spa as a theme (soap, candles, massage oils, things to pamper oneself with as ideas). These items must be in prior to the Haunted Halloween dance on October 25th

Class News and Updates

Congrats to our class debate team for making it to the district finals, way to go team!

Mid term evaluations to take place during the week of October 14-18.

We are starting a new unit on diversity, multiculturalism and what it means to have a national identity. I am encouraging students to bring in an artifact of their own family history to use in a class discussion.

Thank you to the PAC for helping to fund the transportation for our upcoming fieldtrip to the Royal B.C. Museum.

Permission and Volunteer Form

Our class is going to be taking a fieldtrip to the Royal B.C. Museum on Monday, November 4th as a part of our upcoming unit covering cultural diversity and national identity. We will be leaving the school at approximately 9:00 and travelling by busses to the museum. We will be returning to the school by 2:00 in the afternoon. Please pack a lunch and dress appropriately for the weather. As always, parent volunteers are very helpful and appreciated. Please include $2 for admission to the museum with the completed form by Friday Oct. 25th.
