STATEMENT OF PERSONAL EDUCATIONAL PHILOSPHY

My interest in teaching dates back to my childhood and my love for children. I was inspired to enter the field off teaching as I come from a family of teachers. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher. I baby sat regularly as a teenager, I loved playing and teaching the kids, my second motivation was my father. He really struggled in school. In every classroom I've ever taught in I've looked for the kid who's struggling, the kid who doesn't understand and is unhappy. But I suppose the real reason I teach. I'm doing something that's not driven by making a profit but to help people. I learned more about the field of teaching from volunteering at the Adrian T Hazel Primary School in classes one to three and the Learning Centre for two months then I became a substitute teacher.
