Steps to be followed to do Batch Closing for EDC Machines.

HDFC & AMEX

Steps:-
1. Press Function Key
2. When it asks for Merchant functions enter “75”.
3. Then host 01 and ENTER.
4. Repeat process 1 & 2 and then when host number is asked again enter 03 and ENTER.
5. These 4 steps shows whether any CC transactions have taken place or not.

For Batch Closing:-

Steps:-
1. Press “Batch Transaction”.
2. When password is asked press “0000”.
3. When Host number is asked for enter “01” and press Enter 3 times the machine
automatically closes the batch.
4. Repeat process 1 & 2 then when asked for host number then press “03”.
5. On doing this Batch “01” & “03” are tallied and closed in case there are any CC
transactions for the day.

CITIBANK

Steps:-
1. Press “8” followed by pressing ENTER 3 times incase there is any transaction it is
automatically tallied and batch is closed.

In both the cases the receipts have to be put in the Remittance Envelope and dropped
along with the cash drop without fail.
