Compare and contrast: At the end of the book Odysseus has to overcome and accept the fact that

he is just like Poseidon. He does that by killing every single suitor just like how Athena gave him the idea to make the Trojan horse and kill every single person living in Troy. Odysseus brutal killing side of Poseidon allowed him to believe it is fine to kill off all the suitors and the maids. This side allows him to use the Trojan Horse to destroy Troy and everyone living there. When Odysseus fights the suitors he says every man will be killed in order for the price to be paid.

This relates to the book as a whole because the whole book is partially a statement against authority and how easily leaders can lie to their underlings; and Dink is the first to call to Enders attention how the IF not only controls their very existence, the threat of the Buggers may not even be real.

Card says, Now he was the master soldier, and he was completely, utterly alone (8).

Dink says, He doesnt know what hes doing. Hes winning but that scares him worst of all because he doesnt know why hes winning, except that I have something to do with it (108).
