INTRODUCTION
Oil from the leaves, seed and bark possesses a wide spectrum of antibacterial action against Gram-negative and Gram-positive microorganisms, including M. tuberculosis and streptomycin resistant strains. In vitro, it inhibits Vibrio cholerae Klebsiella pneumoniae, M. tuberculosis and M. pyogenes. Antimicrobial effects of neem extract have been demonstrated against Streptococcus mutans and S. faecalis.

The bacterial cultures are inoculated aseptically into sterile peptone water test tube #$ml% and incubated.
DAY TWO:TWO
After &' hours of incubation, the bacterial culture in the peptone water is inoculated on to the surface of sterile nutrient a1a% plate aseptically using sterile cotton swab. 3LAWN CULTURE4 After a few minutes, neem extract impregnated. (hatman filter paper disc is placed on cultured nutrient Agar plate and incubated on a incubator.
DAY THREE:After &' hours of incubation the plates were observed for )one of inhibition.
