AMA will be hosting 4th annual wine tasting event

New Paltz, NY Nov. 7th, 2012 The award winning SUNY New Paltz chapter of the American Marketing Association will be hosting their fourth annual wine tasting event on November 7th at 5:00 pm. The event will be held on campus at the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art. We invite New Paltz students and alumni, along with faculty and business professionals to join us for our wine tasting networking event. You will learn how wine is made and marketed. Attendees will also have the opportunity to sample a variety of Whitecliffs wines and tour the Samuel Dorsky Museum. Located in Gardiner, New York, Whitecliff Vineyard and Winery is one of the largest vineyards in the Hudson Valley. Their Riesling took home gold at the 2010 San Francisco International Wine Competition. Founders Michael Migliore and Yancey Stanforth-Migliore have been fine-tuning the wine making process for the past thirty years and are excited to be back on campus to teach us how a quality wine is made and marketed. Do not miss out on the opportunity to network with students, professors, and other business professionals. Attendees of all ages are invited to attend this event, but you must be over the age of twenty-one to sample the wine. There is a $10 charge for students, and $20 for faculty and business professionals. There will be a registration sheet located in Van Den Berg hall, or you can email VPadvertising@newpaltzama.com ###
