I had the opportunity to serve as Ashley Kemmers Public Speaking instructor at Slippery Rock University. During her time in my course, she distinguished herself as an enthusiastic scholar and continually wanted to engage and interact in the lectures. While this course is required by the University, Ms. Kemmer recognized that oral communication is important in any industry. This was evident from her work ethic and being well-prepared to be able to effectively delivery information to her audience. She also stepped up as a leader during group work to organize and accomplish the tasks needed to complete the in-class assignment. I must also make note of Ms. Kemmers exceptional participation inside and outside of the classroom. Throughout her time in my course, she consistently engaged in classroom discussions, assignments and group projects.
