BEFORE READING:
Focus Attention/Activate Prior Knowledge: Introduce title, author, and illustrator of the book. Discuss cover, no. of words in title, etc. Predict What will the book be about? (Purpose for reading the book) Take a walk through the book. Activate prior knowledge. Discuss some of the pictures and words in the book to get the language of the book into the students mind. Vocabulary
