NA Providing creche facility to female staff helps them perform better as they know that the child has been taken care off well and hence can concentrate better on the job.

Chreche at work place will instead help employee to focus on work without worrying about the child left at home with baby seater. I do not think the work infrastructure is good in my company, as there are no fixed policies for anything. Even if there are, there is no documentation. No transparency is maintained with the employees even for the things which directly affect the employee; biggest example is Appraisal. Employee is given no reason for the rating given. There is no option to reject the appraisal. My company is not employee friendly. Too many restrictions and too less flexibility is given work wise. There is no job rotation. No cross skilling. No different opportunities are provided work wise.

Having a Creche/Day-care centre at the company can be distracting. I disagree because I believe that it shows the human side of a company and the employee feels more connected to the workplace. In today's world of nuclear families having kids at work helps many parents to work without worrying too much about what the kid must be doing or to go their homes during breaks to ensure that the kid is fine.
