FRAME - END RELEASES EXAMPLE DESCRIPTION The frame object end releases are verified in this example. Three models are used in the example. The models are identical, except for the end releases. Model A has a shear release, model B has an axial release and model C has a moment release. SAP2000 results for the axial force and moment at the fixed support are compared with independent hand calculated results.
