MCC5.NF.6 Solve real world problems involving multiplication of fractions and mixed numbers, by using visual models Blooms Level of Critical Thinking: Remembering X Understanding X Applying X Analyzing X Evaluating X Creating Description of how to implement in the class:The students will be using the Graph Club software to keep track of the number occurrence of their dice rolls. After each roll the student must record their outcome on their individual graph. They will only get 10 chances to roll the dice. After the students finish the teacher will create a graph for the whole class and get the percentage. Level of Technology Implementation (LoTi): This assignment would be a Level 3 because it encourages the students higher order thinking for the teacher-directed problems. The graphs or products are generated by students and as a class a final product is created. There is technology use but it is not being published for any website. Description of the sample spreadsheet and graph/chart provided: In this example Graph Club file you will see a student who rolled a 3 in majority of their rolls.
