Reflection Writing my literacy memoir was more of a journey for me and it is one of those pieces that really stood

out to me. In the beginning, I was dreading over writing this memoir because I was not interested in writing such a personal story to my fellow peers as well as my professor. I normally do not write about my personal life, especially about my religious practices, but I overcame that and took a risk. Overall, I am proud of myself for the fact that I had the guts to write something so close and personal to me and that my group members liked it very much. I had a lot to write about because it played a key role throughout my life, and I am glad that I took the initiative on writing about it.
