November 20, 2013 To whom it may concern:

I am writing this letter of recommendation for one of my excellent interns, Alecia Jo Riehle. My recommendation will follow a brief overview of the internship opportunities Alecia had been engaged in while with me. My name is Paul Cohen and I am the director of Florida State University College of Motion Pictures Arts (www.film.fsu.edu) Torchlight Program. (You can find more information at: http://film.fsu.edu/Programs/The-Torchlight-Program). This is an innovative program that, as one of its goals, aims to educate students in current and emerging business practices of the motion picture industry. One of its missions is to assist in placing students in practical real world internship experiences. It is through this program that I meet many of the University's best and brightest students interested in the entertainment business. I have been and continue to be an independent motion picture distributor in addition to my Torchlight activities at the University. (Further information about my work, including a CV, can be found at: http://film.fsu.edu/People/Faculty/Paul-Cohen). Alecia is a young woman who, through the Torchlight Program, interned for me at my Florida formed independent motion picture consulting company, The Red Hills Motion Picture Releasing Company, LLC. My years of independent distribution allow me the opportunity to attract films to market through this company without advertising or promoting other than by word of mouth industry buzz. In August of 2013, I had the opportunity to offer her an internship with the company. During her time from August 2013 to December 2013 as an intern, Alecias commitment along with her enthusiasm allowed her to gain my interest. This created an accelerated opportunity for her to begin to learn the business of distribution, as she was eager and willing to learn new skills and was relentless in her quest to achieve successful results. Alecia was not only self-motivated but also able to communicate the goal of each new assignment effectively and reach those goals on a consistent basis with poise and efficiency. Alecia led teams in social media marketing campaigns, communicating information to the target audience appropriately identified for the films Red Hills was engaged to promote as the films opened in theaters across the U.S.A. and Canada, prior to their VOD and DVD releases nationally. Alecia often worked directly with executives in charge of each project via weekly telephonic marketing meetings. Her verbal and writing skills were solid and reliable.

At Red Hills, everyone working within the company must be able to meet deadlines on a daily basis. Alecia met this challenge by exhibiting leadership with organizational and time management skill sets that allowed for her team to meet their deadlines. During her internship with Red Hills, she worked on the social media marketing campaigns for nationally acclaimed feature independent motion pictures including: Geography Club, directed by Gary Entin and starring Cameron Deane Stewart, Justin Deeley and Meghan Martin. This film follows the lives of a group of teenagers who start a secret gay-straight alliance club at their high school. JFK: A President Betrayed, directed by Cory Taylor and narrated by Academy Award winner Morgan Freeman. This documentary reveals new evidence of JFKs attempts to negotiate peace with Khrushchev and Castro before his death despite opposition inside his own government. Dead Before Dawn 3D, directed by April Mullen and starring Christopher Lloyd. This film follows a group of college kids who accidentally unleash a curse that causes people to turn into zombie demons and wreak havoc. Dislecksia: The Movie, directed by Harvey Hubbell. This documentary provides insight into what its like to live with dyslexia and what we can do to help children who have it succeed in school. The film offers a uniquely positive perspective of dyslexia as a learning difference, rather than a disability. Shored Up, directed by Ben Kalina. This documentary discusses the issues our coastal cities are facing as water levels continue to rise, storms devastate homes, and more and more beach restoration is needed to stop our coastlines from eroding away completely. Running Wild: The Life of Dayton O. Hyde, directed by Suzanne Mitchell. This documentary examines the life of modern day cowboy, author and wildlife conservationist Dayton O. Hyde, and his determination to save the wild horses in the American west. Newlyweeds, directed by Shaka King and starring Amari Cheatom. This film follows a modern day love triangle set in New York City between a man, a woman, and Mary Jane. The Secret Lives of Dorks, directed by Salome Breziner and starring Gaelan Connell and Vanessa Marano. This film follows dorky guy Payton as he tries to navigate his way through high school and win the affection of beautiful and popular head cheerleader Carrie.

Ass Backwards, directed by Chris Nelson and starring Casey Wilson, June Diane Raphael and Jon Cryer. This film follows the adventures of best friends Kate and Chloe as they take a road trip back to their hometown to compete in the same beauty pageant they entered when they were kids. This film was a Sundance Film Festival favorite. The Lifeguard, directed by Liz W. Garcia and starring Kristen Bell, Mamie Gummer and Martin Starr. This film follows the adventures of former New York City reporter Leigh after she quits her job and moves back to her childhood home where she resumes her old high school job as a lifeguard. This film was also a Sundance Film Festival favorite.

It is for these reasons that I would like to highly recommend Alecia as she has maturity and determination that resonates with her peers as well as her employer. She is a highly committed, reliable and trusted employee who sets a high level of excellence for her performance in each task she engages. Alecia is personable and always appropriate, has excellent communication skills and is able to work independently as well as with groups to create successful results. I hope that you will consider her for a position in your organization and if there is any additional assistance I may provide during your assessment process please do not hesitate to contact me directly on my personal line; (646) 244-5598. Sincerely,
