Cory Smith Th-th-thats All Folks!

So its time of year, where lights cover houses, and red and green become the official colors of the season. e!, thats right" its finals time! And with this most wonderful of times coming u!on us # now have the chance to look back u!on this semester at my e$!erience of my first ever english class in college. %onestly, it was not as bad as # thought it was going to be. &y english classes in high school really !ushed me to the limit with the e$!ectations that were set and the amount of work # was given. 'ecause of this # struggled through most of the four years and this made me dislike all of my english classes immensly. This changed though with my first class that # have taken in college. # now can say that # like english a lot more now than # did back in high school (even though it may not be my favorite sub)ect still it has im!roved very much for me*. 'efore this year # thought that english was a useless, boring class but now # see that it is very hel!ful to understanding the world around me. +hen looking back at this semester # very easily see that # have learned more than # have in !revious years of english. # feel that the more layed back style of class hel!ed this ha!!ened. #nstead of a class that is taught to !re!are you for a standardi,ed test like in high school, this class was taught for the sole !ur!ose of e$!anding our knowledge in the sub)ect of english. # find this to be much more useful and feel like # am being taught for an academic !ur!ose. #f # could start this semester over # would not change one thing. The reason for this is that # feel like # have taken all of the things # have learned in this class and # have

done my best to get a good grade in it. This makes me feel very good about how # have done and # honestly have no regrets with taking this class. +hen all is said and done # really en)oyed this class very much and # cannot wait to futher my learning in english ne$t semester when # take english again. -ven though # only have to take two semesters of english for my ma)or # am glad # have to take them because # feel like they will really hel! me in my future endeavours. 'ut before # start my second semester of english # get to go on my well deserved break. # am really e$citied for what the ne$t semster in english will be like and what # will be able to learn in the class. So with all this said and done # can finally say thats all folks!
