Representation of Musician Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus was always represented by the media as a

young, innocent actress, who played the role of Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel show Hannah Montana, with her father. She also became a recording artist in 2007, however has only recently become known for her music in 2012/2013. In general Miley Cyrus is represented in the media, as quite disgusting and inappropriate, however she receives a lot of press about her inappropriate behaviour, which makes her even more well-known and famous.

In this music magazine, it represents Miley Cyrus as a tough 20 year old. They show Mileys tattoo which represents that shes older and its as if to say Im not Hannah Montana anymore. The use of the words GOOD GOLLY MISS Miley! represent that she has made a huge transformation, and that she looks completely different than the old Miley. It shows that she is quite sexy and no longer wants the innocent Disney image. The use of the image of Miley naked, in a pool, represents that this is who she is, stripped down to nothing, this is who she really is and she can finally express that not being on Disney channel anymore. As Rolling Stones is more of a rock magazine, and the use of Miley putting her tongue out and mascara under her eyes represents that, it makes her look like a rock star herself. This magazine neither represents Miley in a good or bad light. Theyre more shocked of her transformation, however the magazine suggests that they like her transformation, being as though she IS their front cover and the use of the text on the front cover.
