Mendeleev was a Russian chemist and inventor. Mendeleev was best known for his own version of the periodic table of elements. He used it to correct the properties of some already discovered elements and also to predict the properties of elements yet to be discovered.

Mendeleev wanted the best education he could possibly have. He didn't get accepted into of The University Of Moscow. Mendeleev is the greatest name in history.

Marie Curie was a French physicist and chemist. She was famous for her pioneering research on radioactivity. Marie Curie was the first woman to win a Nobel Prize. She received a general education in local schools and some scientific training from her father.
