Plant Growth Project Report 1. On the first day I got a pot (Styrofoam cup) and made a hole at the bottom to let the water run drain out when I watered it. I got of a cup of soil and put to seeds inside the soil. I came back on Thursday to see my plant had grown. I measured the growth in millimeters and watered it; I repeated this process until Sunday the 22nd.

2. The difference between the handmade slope and the one from excel was 15. My slope for the handmade graph was y = 21x-47 and the computerized graph was y = 6.3889x +85.875. I can infer from my last four days of graphing that my plant has most likely stop growing due to its own steady slope of y = 158. I predict that in thirty days my plant will have grown 0 mm, but if I follow the slope given in thirty days the plant would be about 190 mm. As seen in my data table below, I am missing days due to my absence.
