The Adjective Explained in Romanian
Romanian requies the adjective to adapt its form to that of the noun. The adjectives with four endings have different forms for both masculine singular and plural and feminine singular and plural.
Masc. Sg => m. pl i fem. Sg - ! => f pl e ex. Bun- buni ex. Bun!- bune

When they precede the noun a special emphasis is placed on the adjective. In this case, the adjective will take over the definite article and any other changes that the noun would normally undergo - frumos b"iat! - frumosul b"iat - frumoas" fat"! - frumoasa fat"
