The Hal Leonard Fake Book is recommended for the closest to the correct keys and chords for the songs. On the sheet, you should note his voicing suggestions in a fractional notation. Example: M - (Melody note) b3 - Flat third 9 - ninth of the root of the chord ____ - underneath the line are the left hand bass notes b7 - flatted seventh of the root of the chord (R) - The Root of the chord can almost always be played. (Assumed. No need to write it down). The above example voices a simple minor ninth (m9) chord. A sample marked up song with voicings is enclosed as SampleSheet.pdf If you didn't know that, you will know that and a lot more rapidshare.com by the time you learn a few of these arrangements!
