Abstract: The concepts and concerns of Imam Ahmad Raza about personality formation
are notable. According to his research, personality formation and development require
unity of heart, soul and will, and if the balance is out, an abnormality would be the result.
His research about hearts role in personality formation is outstanding. In this article,
Razas concept of personality formation in the light of psychology has been presented
from biological, social and spiritual perspectives. His theory about child education and
development, and his stated methods for training of emotions on scientific lines have
been presented.
