their actions have a future impact. B) According the Bartlett and Holland, a figured world is a socially produced and culturally constructed realm of interpretation in which a particular set of characters and actors are recognized, significance is assigned to certain acts, and particular outcomes are valued over others. C) Artifacts are constructed objects, of almost any kind, that convey a meaning, emotion, or a judgment. They are seen as a part of a figured world as they are social constructs. 2) A literary practice is the way in which you communicate, think, act, and basically do all things in order to be normal or superior. Literacy is a persons social and cultural world, or other influence such as experience, interactions, politics, events, history etc. 3) The figured worlds give an area for the artifacts to manifest in. The cultural artifacts are what give the actors the opportunity to re-imagine things and change or replace the social construction of their life, so they may not have such a narrow way of looking at things. List three questions you have concerning the content or your understanding of this article. 4) 1) Is there an end to the amount of content available within a figured world? 2) Can a single actor have more than one role within the confines of a figured world? 3) Can other figured worlds be fully interpreted and understood by a singular figured world?
