For evidence of my oral, visual, and electronic pieces, I chose to include my brochure and PowerPoint presentation from assignment four. My brochure is a visual representation of the Live Green! Initiative, the program that I wrote about in assignment three. The brochure is an electronic piece and represents my visual communication. My PowerPoint presentation was over creating my brochure. It is also an electronic piece, and represents my oral communication because I used it to give a speech in class. I felt that these pieces were my best work for my oral, visual, and electronic pieces because I composed them later in the semester when my communication skills were more developed. In creating both of these pieces, I had to keep the audience and context in mind. When developing content for my brochure, I had to think of what information I wanted the audience to know about the Live Green! Initiative and what would be relevant to them. Once I developed the content for my brochure, I began organizing and designing it. I organized the information in my brochure to flow, so it would interest the audience. I tried to design my brochure to be visuallyappealing and professional-looking. After I created my brochure, I created my PowerPoint presentation. The content that I included in my PowerPoint presentation highlights the major decisions that I chose in creating my brochure. Instead of just listing off facts, I tried to go more in-depth and describe the relevancy of my design choices. I tried to make my presentation sound like a conversation to make it seem more informal. I did not make any changes to the original versions of my brochure or presentation.

I believe that these pieces demonstrate that I can effectively communicate using oral, visual, and electronic modes. They reflect my growth as an OVE communicator and English 150 has benefited me over the semester. The skills that I have learned through the creation of these pieces will benefit me in both my education and the work-force.
