3 different types of ADHD

Combined ADHD, which involves symptoms of both ainattentiveness and hyperactivity/impulsivity. Inattentive ADHD, which is marked by imparied attention and concentration. Hyperactive-impulsive ADHD, which is marked by hyperactivity without inattentiveness.

Symptoms for Inattention

Difficulty paying attention to details; producing work that is messy and careless. Frequent shifts from one uncompleted activity to another.

Procrastination.
Disorganized work habits.

Symptoms of Hyperactivity

Apparent in younger children

Fidgeting, squirming when seated


Getting up frequently to walk or run around Running or climbing excessively when it's inappropriate

Conclusion

ADHD can be diagnosed often in children.

Up to half of adults diagnosed with the disorder had it as children.
