Planning for evaluation questions

In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products? barcode, different typography, main image -Uses a barcode like any other standard magazine -Different types of typography to make it look professional -Main image is clear and direct to audience and attract people to read magazine which is what other magazines do to sell copies, made the image look different and interesting for audience. May challenge other magazine on front cover because its unique -Masthead is bold and is the same on every magazine which is what is done in all real life magazines -Dropped cap starts off the article in a professional way and uses this from magazine -Use of strapline of front cover which will be located on each of the copies. 2) How does your media product represent particular social groups? male

female, age group


-mainly female because of female artist, male may also like this artist so may enjoy reading the interview. But I think girls will be able to relate to her more because she looks outgoing and her interview talks about how she is a home girl. Age group- 13-18 year olds, with the sort of music that the artist produces

3) What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and

why?-publisher
NME magazine. Why you would go to that publisher- magazine which relates to their genre of magazines.

4) Who would be the audience for your media product?13-18 year olds, mainly females-explain why-because artist is female, so people can relate

5) How did you attract/address your audienceProduced questionnaires, graphs, directly addressed, to see what sort of people would read the magazine- explain how I did this (using website) 6) Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in

the progression from it to the full product? - College mag- music mag- secondary images, fonts

- Not to use basic font off Microsoft which is what I did on my college mag and looking back it looks childish and not very professional - Secondary images = important so make sure I got a varied - Use plain background instead of coloured one, if use coloured one make sure its not just plain and has something on it.
