JUST DESSERT

By Jack Leary Happy Halloween Katie said as she sank the knife into the pumpkin. The pumpkin grew brighter and brighter, BOOM. When the family woke, they were all itchy, then they heard it, nothing, for usually they heard the meow of Snickers their cat, or BUP, BUP of the fish tank filter, when Dan opened his eyes He was in a dark cave filled of sand! When the family woke Dan yelled, FAMILY MEETING. MMhHhhh, MMMMMHHHHHHhhh hh Its like 3 in the morning, I think. Buck said, after the family stopped rubbing their eyes, Dan made a family announcement, try not to panic, we are trapped in by sand! Not helping Katie said, today we will build a house. So they got to work. Butch shoveled sand until there was a somewhat flat surface Now we have to make some rooms, Bill said. Can you build my room first? Billy, the youngest one asked. Okay Katie said. Buck, Butch and Dan all rolled their eyes.

Lets get to work. Katie said The next week they finished their house, or what now looked like a MANSHIN!!! YAAAAAA! Billy yelled.Ohhhhh, we kind of need some food. Dan said WAAAAHH WAHH WAHHHHHHH Billy started crying. Well, it is turning evening, I think, we should get some shut eye. Katie said. The next day they tunneled out. It took 5 days but finally, they found daylight. FREEDOM Dan yelled. The whole family started panting, for they were pooped. They found their house and walked in, but it never felt the same.
