Looking Deeper into the Lords Prayer (Matthew 6:9-13)

Our father in heaven, hallowed be your name, 10 your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
11

Give us today our daily bread.

12

And forgive us our debt,

as we also have forgiven our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever.

13

Recognize Gods authority and power over everything as you pray. Know that God has a divine plan and will, greater than your own. Ask for the strength to understand that his will should be done. Ask God for basic and essential needs. Think about asking for things that will bring you closer to God. Repent for the sins you have committed and ask God to forgive them. Come to God with an innocent heart. Through the strength of God forgive those who have wronged you and love them as a child of God, even when difficult. Ask God for the strength to get us through our daily temptations and help us to flee from sin rather than run to it. Once again know that God is great and divine. Building His kingdom and glorifying him should be important to you.
