    HOCKEY Treasurer Media Release Tuesday, 10 December 2013 TIMING OF MYEFO RELEASE The Mid-Year Economic and Fiscal Outlook (MYEFO) will be released next Tuesday, 17 December 2013 at the National Press Club. The document will show the true state of the books that the Coalition Government has inherited. The Government has been working on this document since we were sworn into office. The first quarterly reading of the 2013-14 financial year, the ABS National Accounts for the September quarter, was released last week. Due to the economic volatility in the domestic and global economy at this time, it has been necessary to wait until now to finalise key budget estimates in this document. We promised we would tell the truth about the budget we inherited and the release of MYEFO is an important part of that process.
