The items should be reasonably priced, able to be made by the teacher or easily obtainable. Try to use objects that are already in the classroom in creative, new ways. (At the beginning of the thematic unit, throughout the unit during a small group lesson plan, circle time) I will introduce a few of these item to the students during circle time and I will introduce the rest of the items during the small group activity. Are there any special rules that the children need to follow when using these items? The only special rule is that the children do not eat any of the shaving cream or move it to a

different area. What do you hope the children to learn? I hope that the children will enhance their experience on this unit through sensory learning and creative art. I also hope that the children will further explore the world of cats and be able to create their own works of art. I believe that children learn best through their senses so the children can learn through sensory learning. What are some ways that the children can reflect on what they have learned? The children can talk among each other and talk about what they created with their plato or shaving cream. I will be asking the children open-ended question such as, How would you create a place for cats? Where do you think these cats live? Well done If you plan to use this in CHDV210, remember to add more items 15/15
