(At the beginning of the thematic unit, throughout the unit during a small group lesson plan, circle time) I will introduce some items to the children during circle time and the other items during a small group activity. Are there any special rules that the children need to follow when using these items? One rule is that children do not eat chalk while playing. There are no further special rules that

the children need to follow. What do you hope the children to learn? I hope that the children learn how the cats play and survive in their habitat and environment. I also hope that the children will draw cats with the chalk they are provided. The children will be able to experience what kinds of food cats eat and how they hunt for them. What are some ways that the children can reflect on what they have learned? The children will be able to reflect while they are outside playing with their peers. The children will also be able to reflect on what they have learned about a cats environment and how they eat. Well done 15/15
