PLAZA HOTEL AFTERNOON

Gatsby and Daisy exit the Plaza Hotel to get into Gatsbys car to go to Long Island. DAISY What Toms problem? I cant Believe all that just happened Give me the keys Im drivin. GATSBY Ight sweet thang, here you go. Daisy gets into the drivers seat and Gatsby gets into the passenger side. Daisy starts the car and storms away. Gatsby turns up the radio. EXT. WILSONS GARAGE LATE AFTERNOON

Myrtle escapes from Wilsons Garage and runs into the street. GATSBY Watch out baby, theres a woman in the street. Daisy speeding down the road hits Myrtle, and continues to drive on. DAISY You didnt tell me soon enough. GATSBY Daisy you need to pull over. DAISY No. Daisy steps on the gas. Meanwhile, Tom, Nick, and Jordan arrive at Wilsons Garage. TOM Wilson whats going on? JORDAN (Screams) Look at that blood! NICK

Look theres Wilson. Lets ask whats up. Tom, Jordan, and Nick get out of the car. They all walk over to Wilson to ask what happened. JORDAN Wilson is everythin ight? I saw that blood. WILSON Its Myrtles; shes dead. NICK (In a daze) Im sorry man. TOM Did you see the fool that hit her? What direction he go? WILSON A fool in a yellow caar; it kept going TOM We needa talk; lets go in dat room. WILSON Ight. Wilson and Tom go into a room. Tom slams the door. Wilson and Tom come out of the room then Tom, Nick, and Jordan get back into Toms car and drive to Long Island. EXT. BUCHANNENS - NIGHT

Tom, Nick, and Jordan arrive at the Buchanans house. Daisy is already in the house. TOM Daisys home. Nick I shoulda dropped you off on the West side, but Ill call up a taxi for ya bro since we cant chill

tonight. You and Jordan go get you some food. Tom opens the door. NICK Nahh man, Im good. But Ill take that taxi. Tom goes in the house to call the taxi. JORDAN Come on in and chill wit me. NICK Nahh girl, its ight. Jordan goes into the house leaving Nick outside. Gatsby, hiding in the bushes, notices Nick walking away from the house. GATSBY Nick! NICK What up? GATSBY Just chillin here. Was there any problems on the road bro? NICK Ya bra. GATSBY Was she killed? NICK Ya. GATSBY I thought so. Daisys straight though. We went on the back roads to get to the West side. I put my ride in the garage. Who was da chick? NICK

Myrtle Wilson. Howd it go down? GATSBY Well, I tried to grab the wheelNICK Was Daisy drivin? GATSBY Ya bro, but Ill say I was. The woman ran into the road and a car was coming the other way, the woman acted like she knew us. Daisy turned the wheel toward the car but lost her nerve and swung it back. Right when I reached for the wheel I felt it man, I felt it kill her. NICK It ripped her up. GATSBY Dont tell me that man. Daisy lost it; I had to force her to stop so I could drive. Im waiting here for her just in case Tom tries to hurt her. The taxi for Nick arrives. NICK Gatsby you should just come with me bro. GATSBY Naa man, Im good. Im stayin here. Nick walks off and gets into the taxi to go home. EXT. WILSONS GARAGE NIGHT

Wilson and his neighbor are talking in his garage. WILSON

He killed her. NEIGHBOR Who did? WILSON I got my ways to find out. NEIGHBOR You dont know what youre saying. Youre losing it fool. WILSON He murdered her. NEIGHBOR It was an accident. WILSON I know, but it was the man in the car. She went to talk to him and he wouldnt stop. (Wilson hesitates) I told her God sees everything. EXT. GATSBYS HOUSE AFTERNOON

Gatsby is getting into his pool when Wilson arrives at his house. GATSBY What can I do for ya? WILSON I know what you did fool. GATSBY I dont know what youre talking about man. WILSON This is for my wife. Wilson shoots Gatsby in the back.
