October 22, 2013 Dear Nodaway County Resident, Every single year the Nodaway Humane Society cares

for 750 to 800 animals. Only about one third of these animals will be placed into homes. Imagine your own pet not having a loving home. With the many animals the humane society cares for, and the drastic cut in funds, our ability to help these animals has being severely limited. Luckily, with support from the community we all can help provide shelter to the animals in our county. Our shelter has started a program called Angels 4 Animals. A small monthly donation of fifty dollars from hundred citizens will greatly benefit these animals. As a participant of this program you will receive the following benefits: Free Humane Society Membership Recognition at the shelter Invitation to Humane Society events Donation is tax deductible Angel lapel pin to show membership

With you help we can provide animals like Boomer shelter, food, and medicine. Boomer is a two year old male lab mix. We found Boomer abandoned on the side of the road. Boomer came to our facilities and was part of the one-third of the shelters animals that are able to find a loving home. Your donation could help so many animals just like Boomer. Dont wait; you can become an angel today! You can visit us or call Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 1:00 5:00 PM, Wednesday 1:00 7:00 PM, and Saturday noon 4:00 PM. Our number is (660) 5623333. If these times dont work for you, you can sign up on our web site http://nodawayhumanesociety.wordpress.com/

Sincerely, Colby Branstine The New Nodaway Humane Society
