In this Discourse Community of the Law System the Audience would be the Judge, Jury, people who are

attending the trial and even people watching the trial if it happened to be on the local news network. The purposes for writing this discourse community is to inform the people about what this community is doing and how this would affect them affect their surroundings. However, the purposes for writing in this community are very important especially when it comes to having evidence of what was happening during the trials. There are several types of genres and media used by the members of the community they might include cell phones, televisions, computers, newspapers, internet articles, etc. The different types of topics may differ depending on the crime that may have happened. The rules also differ depending on the how bad the crime may have been and the height of the risk of injuring others and the surroundings. The language doesnt really matter because in every country or state there are civil courts and such. For example in Mexico the language is Spanish, in the United States the language is English. In order to become a member such as a judge or lawyer they must attend years of school in order to gain there place in the Court System.
