Who do you think the author is talking to with this piece? How do you know this? I think that this is targeted to the consumers, which basically is everyone. What is the issue or problem being presented? That the GMOs will change the way that the foods will be processed to use them.

What is the solution proposed by the author? To us the GMOs in a way that can help people and the community. Is the author credible? If so, how do they establish credibility? If not, how can they appear more credible? I think that the author is credible because she has many real world facts.

What is the emotional appeal of the piece? How does it make you feel? This made me feel good knowing that science has come a long way to improve the world. What is the argument of the piece? Is it logical? Why or why not? The argument is logical because it can better the way that foods are produced. What does the author ask you to do to fix the problem? Is this something you would do? To allow this and accept that this is a good thing.
